Welcome to the Text2 ecosystem! By accessing or using our applications, you agree to comply with the terms below. Please read carefully, as they protect your rights and outline our mutual responsibilities.
1. User & App Identification
The Text2 ecosystem is designed to give you the freedom to choose your level of participation:
Level 1 User (Guest)
You use our products without creating a Text2 Account. All your activity data is stored locally directly on your device (Local/IndexedDB).
Level 2 User (Resident)
You create a Text2 Account to unlock advanced features (such as multi-device synchronization and push notifications).
Level 1 App
Static applications that do not store any user data on Text2’s cloud servers.
Level 2 App
Applications that store data on Text2’s cloud servers (only active if you are a Level 2 User).
2. Age Requirements
Text2 products are not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. By using this ecosystem, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. If we discover an account violating this rule, we will terminate it immediately to comply with global child protection regulations.
3. Your Rights & Responsibilities
Absolute Control
As a Level 2 User, you have the full right to request a data export or permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time (completed within a maximum of 30 days).
Security & E2EE
For Level 2 Apps utilizing End-to-End Encryption, data is encrypted directly on your device. You are solely responsible for securing your device and your encryption keys. Even Text2’s servers cannot decrypt or recover this content if you lose your keys.
4. Acceptable Use & Termination
We welcome you, but our infrastructure must be protected to serve everyone safely. You MUST NOT:
- Deliberately send malicious requests (Spam) or conduct Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks against Text2's network.
- Use our ecosystem for illegal activities.
Enforcement
Our security system (powered by Cloudflare) will automatically identify and permanently block malicious IPs. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account violating these rules without prior notice.
5. Sustainability & Third-Party Services
To maintain our commitment to providing free servers for Level 1 Users and developing the ecosystem for the next 40 years, we partner with reputable third parties:
Advertising (Google AdSense & Text2 Ads)
We use standard cookies to display relevant ads. You maintain full control and can enable/disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Anonymous Measurement (Google Analytics)
We collect anonymous statistics (such as visitor traffic and popular features) strictly to optimize your experience, without ever personally identifying you.
6. Disclaimer & Legal Compliance
"As Is" Service
Text2 services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure or lost encryption keys.
Crash Logs
If an application crashes, the system may automatically send a fully encrypted "Anonymous Crash Log" to our servers for troubleshooting, containing absolutely no personal data.
Law Enforcement
Text2 places your privacy above all else. We will only cooperate and provide information upon receiving a legitimate, binding request from a Court or competent authority, and only after strictly verifying the authenticity of that legal document.
7. Policy Modifications
We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in the ecosystem. Significant updates will be clearly announced on our homepage and official Text2 social media channels.
